1. 개요
영국 왕립천문학회가 발행하는 천문학 저널. 1827년 영국의 런던 천문학회의 Monthly Notices of the Astronomical Society of London(런던 천문학회 월간 소식)으로 시작했다가 1831년 왕실 칙허장을 받고 영국 왕립천문학회로 개명함에 따라 저널명도 현재와 같이 바뀌었다.[5] 2024년 1월부터 RAS가 소속 모든 저널을 오픈액세스 저널화함에 따라 MNRAS도 덩달아 gold OA가 되었다. #MNRASL이라는 letters 저널이 따로 존재한다.#
