밴드 마룬 5의 정규 3집. 마룬 5의 락 밴드로서의 앨범으로는 마지막 앨범으로 여겨지는데, 이는 다음 앨범인 Overexposed 부터는 밴드가 점차 락 밴드가 아닌 팝 밴드로의 길을 걷게 되었기 때문. 기타나 베이스 등의 소리를 뚜렷하게 들을 수 있는 것도 본작이 마지막이다. 밴드의 로고 디자인은 본 앨범부터 정립되어 지금까지도 공식적으로 사용되고있다. 앨범 아트에서 중요 부위들만 가린 여성의 나체가 드러나있는데, 이 때문에 일부 국가에서는 선정성 문제로 앨범 아트가 여성의 어깨 아래 부분은 잘린 채 어깨 윗 부분까지만 클로즈업되어 발매되었다.

2. 평가와 흥행

평가면에서는 모든 곡이 평타는 치는 완성도를 보여주며 평론가, 평론 매체들로부터 호평을 얻었으나 완성도에만 치중한 탓인지 밋밋하다는 평도 공존했다.

또한 록의 느낌이 매우 많이 묻어나는 앨범인지라 크게 흥행하지도 못하면서 마룬5가 바로 다음 앨범에서 팝으로 전향하게 되는 계기를 제공하기도 했다.

다만 마룬5의 초창기 감성을 좋아하던 팬들에게는 현재까지도 사랑받는 앨범이다.
