유엔 안전보장이사회는 이란의 우라늄 농축 프로그램을 이유로 제재를 강화하였다. 이란이 IAEA와 협조를 하지 않고 핵 프로그램을 강화하는 것을 막기 위한 조치.
유엔 결의안 1929 이란의 우라늄 농축에 대한 무기 금수조치 강화에는 다음이 포함됩니다.
• 7가지 유형의 재래식 무기(전차, 장갑 전투 차량, 대구경 포병 시스템, 전투기, 공격 헬리콥터, 군함, 미사일) 및 관련 재료, 기술, 상품 및 예비 부품의 판매 금지.모든 회원국들은 (i) 전차, 장갑차량, 중화기, 전투기, 공격용 헬기, 전함, 미사일이나 미사일 시스템 일체와 관련 물품,부품등 관련 물자및 안보리나 안보리위원회가 결정하는 품목들 (ii) 이란의 핵 프로그램에 도움이 될 수 있는 모든 품목과 물질, 장비, 상품, 기술 등과 각국의 통제 리스트나 공동 리스트에 입각한 모든 국내 조치들 (iii) 재래식무기들이 그 원산지를 불문하고 각국의 영토나 이란으로 이동을 막는다.
(b) 이란은 위에 명시한 모든 품목들의 수출을 중단해야 하며, 모든 회원국들은 자국민이나 국적선, 항공기 등이 이란으로부터 위와 같은 물품들을 획득하지 못하도록 금지한다.
(c) 모든 회원국들은 위에 명시된 품목들의 등에 도움이 될 수 있는 기술훈련, 조언, 서비스, 지원이 자국민에 의해서 이라에 제공되거나 그들의 영토로부터 이라에 이전되지 못하도록 금지한다. 이란으로부터 이같은 훈련이나 조언, 공급, 판매, 이전, 서비스 등이 자국민이나 영토로 이전되는 것도 금지한다.
(d) 모든 회원국들은 각국의 법절차에 따라 이란의 핵 관련 프로그램을 지원하는 자국내 자금과 기타 금융자산, 경제적 자원들을 결의안 채택일부터 즉각 동결하며, 이란의 지시에 따라 움직이는 개인이나 단체들도 자국내 자금이나 금융자산, 경제적 자원들을 사용하지 못하도록 조치한다.
• 핵 물질 또는 품목 내부의 화물인 경우 화물을 검사하며, 이에 협조 조치를 제공하기를 바라며, 압수 및 처분한다.
• 재정 및 자산 지원을 금지하고 이란 외부에서 이와 관련된 개인 또는 조직의 자산을 동결하고 이러한 개인에 대한 여행 제한을 부과합니다.
• 회원국은 이란의 핵 프로그램과 관련된 모든 개인, 종사자 또는 조직이 해외에서 보유한 금융 자산을 동결해야 합니다.
• 이란 제재를 모니터링하는 전문가 패널 (6명 인원)을 설립한다.
• 재정 및 자산 지원을 금지하고 이란 외부에서 이와 관련된 개인 또는 조직의 자산을 동결하고 이러한 개인에 대한 여행 제한을 부과합니다.
• 회원국은 이란의 핵 프로그램과 관련된 모든 개인, 종사자 또는 조직이 해외에서 보유한 금융 자산을 동결해야 합니다.
• 이란 제재를 모니터링하는 전문가 패널 (6명 인원)을 설립한다.

Summary;
The UN Security Council strengthened sanctions on Iran over its uranium enrichment program. Measures to prevent Iran from further enhancing its nuclear program without cooperating with the IAEA.
UN Resolution 1929 Strengthened the arms embargo on Iran's uranium enrichment program, including:
- Prohibition of the sale of seven types of conventional weapons (tanks, armored fighting vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems, fighter aircraft, attack helicopters, warships, missiles) and related materials, technology, goods and spare parts. All Member States shall prohibit
(i) tanks, armored vehicles, heavy weapons, fighter aircraft, attack helicopters, warships, missiles or missile systems, and related materials, components and other items as determined by the Security Council or a Security Council committee;
(ii) all items, materials, equipment, goods, technology and other items that could assist Iran’s nuclear program, and all domestic measures based on national control lists or joint lists;
(iii) movement of conventional weapons, regardless of their origin, into their territory or into Iran;
(b) Iran shall cease exporting all items specified above, and all Member States shall prohibit their nationals, national vessels and aircraft from obtaining such items from Iran.
(c) All Member States shall prohibit the provision by their nationals of technical training, advice, services or assistance to Iran or the transfer from their territories to Iran of any such training, advice, supply, sale, transfer or service that may be helpful for the above-mentioned items. They shall also prohibit the transfer of such training, advice, supply, sale, transfer or service from Iran to their nationals or territories.
(d) All Member States shall, in accordance with their respective legal procedures, immediately freeze funds and other financial assets and economic resources within their territories that support Iran’s nuclear-related programs, and shall take measures to prevent individuals or entities acting under Iran’s direction from using their own funds, financial assets or economic resources.
- Inspect cargoes containing nuclear materials or items, refuse them, request cooperation in this regard, and seize and dispose of Iranian cargoes if prohibited items are found.
- Prohibit financial and asset support, freeze assets of individuals or organizations outside Iran that are related to such activities, and impose travel restrictions on such individuals.
