3. 특징

맏형 멤버들인 혁과 석이 북한 출신으로, 북한 출신 아티스트가 데뷔하는 최초의 K-POP 그룹이다.

2023년 8월 10일 멤버 케니가 아시아 초성단에 출연한 사실이 공개되면서 그룹의 세 번째 멤버로 소개되었고,[2] 2024년 1월 26일에는 막내이자 메인 댄서인 아이토가 공개되었다. 2024년 12월 25일, 다섯 번째 멤버 네이슨이 공개되었다.

원래 SB Boyz으로 알려져 있다가 2024년 9월 19일 정식 그룹명 1VERSE를 발표했다.

데뷔전 유튜브 콘텐츠 SB Boyz Unplugged에서 영어, 한국어, 문화다양성, 작사/작곡 등 멤버들의 교육을 중시하는 모습을 보여주고 있다.

소속사 Singing Beetle의 대표 조미쉘은 SM 엔터테인먼트에서 International A&R로 근무한 후 회사를 설립했다. Singing Beetle이라는 이름은 이솝 우화 '개미와 베짱이'에서 영감을 얻었다고 한다.
