더 큐어를 대표하고 상징하는 곡으로 1980년대 향수를 자극하는 신스 사운드와 포스트 펑크 사운드가 어우러지는 곡이다. 80년대 명곡하면 항상 상위권에 뽑힐 정도로 음악적 평가가 좋은데 상업적으로도 엄청난 히트를 쳤다. 큐어의 첫 미국 히트곡으로 빌보드 핫 100에서 40위에 올랐다. 이 이후로 Friday I'm in Love가 18위, Lovesong이 2위를 기록하며 미국에서 꾸준하게 인기를 유지하게 된다.7집 Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me의 소재를 개발하기 위해 로버트 스미스는 매달 15일 동안 억지로 음악을 작곡했다. 이 시기 동안 그는 《Just Like Heaven》의 기초를 이루는 화음과 멜로디를 개발하였다.
