2021년 3월 9일 리퍼블릭 레코드와 OVO사운드에서 발매한 드레이크의 4번째 EP Scary Hours 2의 리드 싱글.2. 상세
What's Next가 수록된 Scary Hours 2는 3곡 수록임에도 주간 판매 유닛이 11만을 넘기며 빌보드 200 1위 데뷔가 가능한 판매량이었으나 4곡부터 앨범으로 인정하는 규칙으로 인하여 앨범 차트에는 데뷔하지 못했다.이 곡은 빌보드 핫 100에서 1위로 데뷔하면서 드레이크의 4번째 1위 데뷔곡이 되었다. 여담으로, EP인 Scary Hours 2의 수록곡 3개 모두 최상위권인 1, 2, 3위 진입에 성공하며 최초로 1, 2, 3위에 곡을 데뷔시킨 가수가 되었다.
정규앨범 대신 이벤트성으로 낸 EP의 곡이었기 때문에 빠르게 차트에서 나갈 것으로 보인다. 이후 2021년 연말 차트에서 68위를 기록했다.
드레이크의 곡들 중 빌보드 1위를 차지한 곡이지만, 퀄리티 문제로 크게 비판받았다.[1]
