영화 메리 포핀스 리턴즈의 사운드트랙이다.다수의 뮤지컬을 작곡했으며 아카데미 시상식에 7회 후보로 선정되었던 마크 샤이먼이 스코어와 노래를 작곡했으며 가사는 스콧 위트먼과 마크 샤이먼이 함께 작사하였다.
메리 포핀스의 음악을 작곡했던 셔먼 형제 중 아직까지 생존해있는 리처드 M. 셔먼이 음악 자문을 해주었으며 메리 포핀스의 노래 중 A Spoonful of Sugar, The Perfect Nanny, Feed the Birds (Tuppence a Bag), Let's Go Fly a Kite가 레퍼런스로 사용되었다.
해밀턴(뮤지컬)으로 유명한 린 마누엘 미란다가 참여한 영향인지 놀랍게도 사운드트랙 중 A Cover Is Not the Book은 에밀리 블런트와 린 마누엘 미란다가 같이 랩을 한다.
