Party Rock Anthem, 강남스타일 등과 함께 일렉트로팝 시대를 대표하는 곡 중 하나이다. 중독적인 가사에다가, 들썩거리는 비트가 일품인 일렉트로 힙합 트랙으로 전 세계적으로 히트를 쳐 미국에서만 약 600만장이 팔렸으며, 12주간 빌보드 핫 100 1위를 달성했다.블랙 아이드 피스는 이후 자신들의 노래 'I Gotta Feeling'으로 이 노래를 밀어내고 14주간 또 빌보드 핫 100 1위를 차지했다. 즉, 블랙 아이드 피스는 2009년에 26주 연속 1위를 기록했다.

- 무한도전 우천시 취소 특집때, 댄싱 위드 더 스타 무대를 빌려 동거동락 댄스 신고식을 찍던 중 정형돈이 이 음악을 댄스 신고식으로 갑빠땐스를 선보여 큰 웃음을 주었다. 이때 붙은 자막은 블랙 아이드 피그.
