1. 개요

BoyWithUke의 싱글이다.

고스트라는 소재로 '그녀'와의 관계를 표현하는 곡이다. 실제로 존재하는 지는 아무도 알 수 없는 유령과 같이, 사람과 사람 사이에 무언가 감정이 있을 수도, 그저 착각일 수도 있는 것처럼 말이다.

기본적으로 이 곡에서의 유령은 '그녀'를 말한다. 하지만 곡의 아웃트로 부분으로 가면, 사실 유령은 자기 자신이었다는 것이 밝혀지게 된다. ~~식스센스~~

이 노래의 훅을 포함한 일부분이 Steve Lacy 의 Bad Habit 에서 영감을 받았다고 한다.참고영상

3.1. 뮤직 비디오

화양연화라고 적힌 네온사인을 지나 보이윗우크가 바로 들어간다. 마이크를 넘겨 받고 노래방 기계로 Ghost를 부르기 시작한다. 그 모습을 특이한 선글라스를 쓴 여자[3]가 관찰하며 수첩에 무언가를 기록한다. 보이윗우크의 노래는 절정으로 치닫고, 여자는 모래시계와 기타 정보들을 적은 수첩을 덮으며 보이윗우크가 노래를 부르며 보고 있던 노래방 기계 화면에 최면을 거는 듯한 화면이 나온다. 그 화면을 본 보이윗우크는 이상하게 행동하기 시작한다.[4] 바에서 민폐를 부리다 자켓과 마이크를 뺏기고 쫓겨난 보이윗우크가 바 앞에 침을 뱉고 요상한 자세로 이리저리 뛰어다니며 춤을 춘다. 한 골목에서 하늘을 보니 두 개의 달이 떠있었고 곧이어 그는 공중부양을 하지만 환각이었다. 현실에서는 맞은 곳의 핏자국과 함께 길에 쓰러져 있고 그런 보이윗우크에게 아까 그를 지켜보고 최면을 건 것으로 추정되는 여자가 모래시계의 로고가 그려진 편지 봉투와 함께 뺏긴 자켓을 돌려주고 떠난다.

뮤직 비디오에서도 나왔던 정체 불명의 여자가 가만히 앉아 보이윗우크를 영상의 시작부터 끝까지 계속해서 쳐다보고 있다.

다른 싱글 Can You Feel It?의 뮤직 비디오에서도 계속해서 나왔던 정체불명의 모래시계가 Ghost의 뮤직 비디오에서 더욱 더 존재감을 드러냈다.
촬영지는 토론토의 차이나타운으로 추정된다.
곡의 훅 부분은 그가 즐겨 듣던 스티브 레이시의 Bad Habit을 참고하여 만들었다고 한다.
