1. 개요

Poets of the Fall은 핀란드 헬싱키에서 결성된 핀란드의 유명 록 밴드이다.

게임 개발사 레메디 엔터테인먼트와의 작업으로 유명하다. 사실 세계적 인기를 얻게 된 것도 역시 이 회사의 게임에 자신들의 곡이 들어간 영향이 크다. 회사 직원과 아는 사이인지라 맥스 페인 2의 엔딩곡 Late Goodbye를 제공해주었는데 게임 분위기와 매우 잘 어울린 덕에 처음으로 유명세를 탔다. 이후로 앨런 웨이크, 컨트롤, 앨런 웨이크 2 등의 게임에 참여했으며 갈수록 비중이 높아진다. 앨런 웨이크 세계관에서는 록 밴드 "아스가르드의 옛 신들"로 등장하며, 아예 공연 무대가 등장하고 전투시에 배경음악을 연주해주거나 온갖 다양한 연출이 나온다. 노래 자체도 잘 나와서 마찬가지로 인기가 좋은 편.
