브루노가 스튜디오에 갈 때 입는 옷들이 그의 노래 영감에 영향을 미쳤다. Versace on the Floor 녹음을 위해 브루노와 그의 제작 팀이 스튜디오에 들어가서 누가 더 옷을 멋지게 입었는지 게임을 했다. 브루노는 베르사체 재킷을 입고 왔는데, 자신을 화려하게 느끼며, 부드러운 베르사체 섹스가 하고싶어져서 이 노래를 만들게 되었다고 한다. 이 노래는 이탈리아 패션 하우스 베르사체와 디자이너 도나텔라 베르사체에게서 영감을 받아 만들어졌다
